Species Accounts & Distribution Maps The species accounts provide information of general status, habitat, and status of breeding species in Florida. The accounts were written by various participants and were often sponsored. To find a species alphabetically, select from the Species drop down list and click the he Get Account button or click on a species from the taxonomic table below. Each account includes a map that displays quads with Possible, Probable or Confirmed breeding status. Click here for more info on the maps. The illustrations of the birds were created by artist Diane Pierce. All images are copyrighted by the artist and permission is needed to use them for other purposes.
